Adeleke O. Bankole

Biography

Ade is a senior machine learning engineer at the Accelerate Programme and is interested in AI for science, mathematics, teaching, education, and building quality software. Previously he was a research software engineer at Cambridge where he worked on climate science codebases running on high-performance computing machines, and evangelised best research software practices. Prior to that Ade was a research associate at the University of Colorado Boulder USA where he worked towards development of open source scientific libraries. Ade was a masters student lecturer, mentor and supervisor at the University of Hamburg, Germany. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the same university. He is passionate about developing innovative fast, accurate, stable and robust numerical algorithms used in the real world together with quality software.
